FISH FACTOR Joints Food supplement based on glucosamine, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and omega-3, useful for promoting joint function.
Glucosamine
It is a normal constituent of the synovial fluid: it is synthesized by chondrocytes (cells present in the cartilage) starting from glucose which is a fundamental element to favor the maintenance and physiological regeneration of the articular cartilage. An additional intake of glucosamine (for example through food supplements) helps to make available to the chondrocytes a quantity of raw material (glucosamine) that compensates for the imbalance between degradation and renewal of the cartilage, in other words the capacity of the organism to supply the substances necessary to restore the physiological processes of cartilage repair. Furthermore, the Glucosamine Regenasure, used in the product, is not derived from animals, but produced through a fermentation process, therefore it is free from contaminants and allergens typically present in crustaceans; it is free from seasonality, has a reduced environmental impact (if compared to that of animal origin) and is suitable for vegetarians.
Hyaluronic acid
It is one of the fundamental constituents of the joints, present in the synovial fluid and in the cartilage. Synovial fluid is involved in shock absorption, joint lubrication, joint hydration, and filtering and nourishing the surrounding cartilage tissue. In the cartilage it forms the extracellular matrix, together with proteoglycans and collagen, where it can retain numerous water molecules and fill the spaces between the collagen fibers (essential for maintaining tissue hydration); by binding with proteglycans, it gives stability to the cartilage itself and contributes to the cushioning of trauma. It also ensures elasticity and resistance.
C vitamin
It is a water-soluble vitamin that performs multiple functions in the body. In relation to the joints it is an important antioxidant and as such promotes the production of new collagen, the most important structural protein that protects and supports the soft tissues and connects them with the skeleton.
Omega 3
They favor the natural processes of inflammation attenuation through different mechanisms of action:
- inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokine production, in favor of anti-inflammatory ones;
- reduction of adhesin production;
- reduction of metalloproteinase production, it is a group of enzymes that have the function of reabsorbing damaged tissues, but in autoimmune diseases they destroy normal ones;
- they are the precursors of useful resolvins that exert an anti-inflammatory action.

How to use
The recommended dose is 1-2 pearls per day to be swallowed with any drink, preferably during meals.
